I think we've all been there. I am sorry you are in the thick of it. Have you ever read The Four Agreements? It's a book that was recommended to me when I was feeling how you are very recently. I am looking forward to your book when your inspiration begins to shine through again.

I read it some years ago, or started to read it. I'll have to pick it up again. Thank you so much for your comment.

yeahh... this is just kind of a gnarly juncture we are living through rn. Like, astrologically, but also in a very dry, objective, historical sense. The crisis of faith feels pretty real.

I want to think that feeling the rawness and fragmentation is an important part of making space for cool new works, eventually. new magic. But I can't say what it will be, or when.

of course, community is vital, but personal emotional shit-shoveling seems to be a very important part of things right now. radical honesty; building new foundations.

I guess my best advice is to let go of outcomes, observe obligation only as necessary, and lean into play. probably there is lush and fertile ground to explore wherever your inclinations lead you.

it sounds like you are doing good and necessary work. I dont want to seem patronizing, but I have faith in you, and in the parallel efforts of a greater community doing Gnarly Juncture Emotional Shit-Shoveling, lol .... :) <3

I get it. I’ve been there. Very recently. I could go there again. Did you see the piece I wrote in my Substack (The Magic is Real) a few weeks ago: “I Am Not Okay”? This feels like your version. It’s us, yes, and it’s also the energy we’re living within. We are not isolated islands, protected energetically from the crazy and mean and destructive and incomprehensible reality. It adds another dimension, often unacknowledged, to the stresses we (our bodies, emotions, souls) are experiencing right now. A crucible in a way.

I just read it, and it's fantastic, and really resonates with what I'm dealing with. Especially the external, 'out there' stuff. That 'out there' stuff really makes me crabby and fearful when dealing with the internal self-abusive things. I just feel like I need space to breathe, and it's just not happening. Take care of yourself. XO
